Holly Everman is excited to be co-hosting with her longtime BFF and sidekick Ava Zinn on Vote for the Girls. Holly is one half of Team Holly & Perri.
Growing up in Indiana's 10th largest city of Muncie, Indiana, graduating from Muncie Central High School and Ball State University, Holly never expected to become a pop culture icon. But in 2010, she added her name to the history books when she became the Co-Host of Vote for the Girls USA.
Holly has been a moderator of Vote for the Girls since its debut on April 28, 2010. Prior to Vote for the Girls, Holly worked at NoSirGifts-owned WTOR-FTV CBS 41/WXXC-FDT INNCD 47 as weekend anchor/reporter for ten years. Prior to her stint at WTOR-FTV, she co-anchored the 5:00 PM newscast with her brother, Garfield Everman, Marshall Davidson, and Patricia Edwards on WMRI-FTV 9abc (then WFAZ-FTV 36, NBC) from 1994 to 1999. Holly began her career while producing an episode of "Patrice," a Saturday morning program, in which Holly, Ava Zinn, and Robyn Hurd eventually shared a 23 year close friendship in December 1989, with Patrice Rafferty calling the trio "The Big Three I-69ers".
When Holly is away from Vote for the Girls and her philanthropic efforts, she is with her son, Aiden, and daughter, Ellie (born in November 2013 and November 2015 respectively), and her nephew, Oliver, after her brother was killed in a drunk driving accident on March 31, 2011. She loves to play sports; volleyball and golf, as well as being a rabid Indianapolis Colts fan. Beyond her work on VFTG USA , Holly spends her time at her favorite job, being a mom to her two children, Aiden and Ellie, an aunt to her four nieces and nephews, Nermal (died in July 2015), Tiffani, Ethan, and Oliver.
DAAAAAMN, GIRL! We just witnessed an epic elimination. Alex Preston was sent home on Idol tonight, and resulting in the second VFTG Knockout.
